Early Positive Dental Experiences

At Midland Family Dentistry, our dental team aims to help children feel as calm and comfortable as possible during their dental appointments so they can maintain their good oral health today and into their adult years.

Our goal is to provide your child with the most positive dental experience possible. We offer a diverse range of dental services for children in Midland and their growing smiles.

We understand that a trip to the dentist can be intimidating for many children, so we do our best to keep the atmosphere friendly, calm, and inviting.

To help make your child more comfortable, our team will move at your child's pace, take breaks if your child becomes overwhelmed, and explain every step of the process to them.

Your Child's First Visit

Infants should attend their first dental appointment when they are six months of age or at least before their first birthday. At this time, their first baby teeth (primary teeth) should be starting to erupt and it's an important time to find any issues before they turn into big problems.

Dental Services for Kids

At Midland Family Dentistry, our services can be tailored to meet the oral health requirements of your child to help keep their smile in good health.

Preventive Dental Hygiene

Visiting the dentist for regular cleanings and exams when your child is still young will help preserve the health of their primary teeth until it is time for them to fall out and be replaced by permanent teeth. At every appointment, we will review proper oral hygiene techniques to help make sure your child's smile receives the proper care it needs at home.

Restorative Dental Services

If your child is at risk of decay, develops a cavity, or is having misalignment problems, your dentist might recommend restorative treatments such as mouth guards and dental fillings.
